Matic Zorman at the inauguration ceremony of this exhibition said: “the Western world has forgotten the children of Gaza who have been affected and injured by the Israeli (Zionist)  attacks on Gaza; a large number of these children are still alive and they are in fact the living examples of destructive and dreadful consequences of the crimes committed by Israel.”
I want to wake up the people
Matic Zorman while conveying his feelings that he is proud to have put his photographs on exhibition at the Hozeh Honari (center for art) and Islamic Republic of Iran, said: the first time I went to Gaza was with Erik Valenčič, the writer of the book titled “Gaza Surrounded; killing of Palestinian people.”(Obleganje Gaze/Ubijanje Palestinskega ljudstva).
Before this trip, the ninth president of Israel (Zionist regime) Shimon Peres came to Slovenia and in a private meeting he asked the president of our country to stop the aid and assistance facilities given to the injured and affected children of Gaza at the Slovenian hospitals; and it was after this meeting only that the help and assistance facilities of the government to the injured children of Gaza were completely discontinued.

He further added: the western media overlooks a lot of things and keeps mum regarding some topics such as being completely silent with regards to the atrocities and tragedies happening in Gaza. The last time I went to Gaza, everything had been completely destroyed. Although, apart from all the problems that the people of this region were facing, they helped me to the most possible extent, so that I can show the conditions they are living in. These photographs are meant to be like a slap on the faces of the people of my country; so that they can wake up and see what is happening around them. My sole aim is to awaken the people and narrate these silent and unspoken stories to them.
